In this 6 week after school Art Club, we will build an appreciation, love for the creative process and making art to students. Students will get to experience clay, papermache, painting, drawing, sculpture and/or printmaking. We will develop higher level thinking skills by looking at art and creative thinking skills through the art making process. Students will see how art intersects their culture, history, math, literacy, science and helps them to calm their mind. They will be learning while having fun!

Kelly Tokay is a fiscal year 2024 recipient of a Creative Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
