AE 2526 Winter Spring

Would you like to grow strawberries, blueberries or other fruit in your own backyard? You learn how easy it is to select fruit varieties for Minnesota; to plant, prune, and maintain the plants for health and maximum yield; and to control insects and disease to ensure a fruitful crop. You will learn about strawberries and raspberries in detail, as well as, blueberries, apples, cherries, plums and honeyberries. Register now to grow your own fresh fruits.

Paul Richtman

Paul Richtman has a passion for gardening, has been growing fruits and vegetables since his youth and has been teaching Community Ed classes since 2004. He is a certified University of Minnesota Tree Care Advisor and Extension Master Gardener, specializing in growing fruits, vegetables, trees and shrubs. He enjoys teaching others what he has learned through the UMN research and best practices.
