Butterfly Bombs (Adult/Child)

Join us to learn about the magical and mystical journey of the monarch butterfly. We will follow the migration and incredible journey of these insects. We will also be making butterfly bombs to help increase the population of their favorite and necessary foods…milkweeds! All supplies and materials are provided, just bring your creativity.


Parent/Child Class: Ages 5-12 with registered adult.

PLEASE NOTE: When registering use the students name.

Adam Garrett Hjelm

Adam Hjelm has been teaching community education and gardening classes for nearly twenty years. He is passionate about native plants and helping people green up their spaces in a variety of ways. Adam is a watershed education coordinator, Master Gardener, Master Naturalist, and Lawns to Legumes coach. When he isn't working with residents on their properties; he can be found wandering the woods, gardening in his backyard, or chasing after fish on our local lakes.
