Knitting 101
Enrichment Adult / Arts -
AE 2526 Winter Spring
Knitting is relaxing, fun, creative and a great way to spend a cold winter afternoon!
Beginning Knitters will learn all the skills necessary to get knitting and by night three, with a little practice, you will be able to create a beautiful scarf, cute hat or a handy washcloth.
Returning Knitters will continue to practice their new learned skill plus a few new tricks! Learn different ways to cast on and bind off, increase and decrease stitches and work on a new project - a Keyhole Scarf.
Materials supplied by student:
- Solid, light colored worsted weight yarn (#4 on the yarn label)
- Size 8 or 9 knitting needles
- Scissors.
