AE 2526 Winter Spring

Looking for a meaningful way to stay active, connected, and give back?

This session explores service and volunteer opportunities designed for adults 55 and older, with an emphasis on Senior Companion & Foster Grandparent Service opportunities, alongside Lutheran Social Services & AmeriCorps Seniors programs. Learn how serving your community can boost your health, broaden your social network, and open doors to new learning experiences. We’ll also cover the benefits, and flexible ways to serve. We will reflect on how your personal values align with community needs and explore ways to make service part of your next chapter.

  • Senior Companions : Making a difference in the lives of older adults for over 40 years. Senior Companions share their time and talents while enhancing the lives of older adults as they assist them in staying active, healthy, and independent.
  • Foster Grandparents : Volunteers provide academic and social support for children and youth to make a positive and lasting impact on their personal growth and social and emotional development.
