Aging Stong
Enrichment Adult / Health -
AE 2526 Summer
As we age, our body’s physiology changes. We can keep our bodies strong and deter many health problems associated with aging. We've all heard how important it is as we age to exercise, eat well, and get adequate amounts of sleep.
In this class, the WHY's will be explained as to how these factors affects our bodies physiology, right down to the cellular level. Also, what type of exercises are beneficial as we age and anti-inflammatory food sources.
This course is designed for adults of all ages.
Kathleen Tybor
My name is Kathleen Tybor. I am a retired biology teacher, and have taught high school science for 25 years in Roseville. I have lived in Mahtomedi for the past 40+ years and have raised 3 children who are all grown and I have 5 grandchildren. For the past 4 years, I've been lucky enough to escape the MN winters as a snowbird, residing in Prescott, AZ during the Winter months. I have taught a few classes here at the Community College. I enjoy mountain hiking, biking, gardening, playing pickleball, and doing jigsaw puzzles.
