This is not your ordinary karate class! This program is designed to enhance self-esteem, safety awareness and self-discipline, and promotes self-defense and responsibility rather than trophies and aggressiveness. Students can progress from white up to yellow belt or higher by continuing in the program. Students should wear comfortable clothing. Uniforms are optional and available at the class for $30. The registration fee includes all necessary materials, a belt test and attendance at an annual karate camp. For questions about class content call Champion Youth at (763) 427-0208. Depending upon enrollment returning and advanced classes will be conducted together. In this case the last fifteen minutes of the class will be devoted to advanced instruction.
