Beginner Stained Glass Suncatchers
Learn the basic steps to making beautiful Stained Glass Windows in this beginner Suncatcher class from an artist with 45 years experience. Choose from a variety of patterns and glass to make your own creations. Students will learn to cut and break glass, use grinders, apply copper foil to the edges and solder the glass together to make beautiful little suncatchers to brighten anyone's day. All supplies and tools included. Students will have time to make 2-4 suncatchers. Please wear shirts with a crew neck and hard finish like denim or t-shirt material; chips of glass will stick in sweaters or fleece. Most of the glass chips will end up by your feet so wear shoes with a closed toe and a hard sole (no Crocs). Safety glasses will be provided, but bring your reading glasses. A supply fee of $20 is payable to the instructor at class. Ages 15-17 allowed with registered adult. Pack a sandwich for dinner!! -

Circle of Life Meditation Bracelet
Join us for the history and use of beads and create your own bracelet. The design for this bracelet was created by our instructor Sue to demonstrate the principles of sacred numbers and symbols that are present in cultures around the world. Prayer beads have a fascinating history dating back 140,000 years. They are still used by 2/3 of the world’s religions. Each student will make a bracelet using a wide selection of beads including gemstone, glass and metal. Counting beads have been found to be releasing and freeing. The movement of beads through your finger can calm a wandering mind. Note: There is a $12 class free due at class. -
Crochet Your Own Teddy Bear
Prerequisite: Basic crochet skills required. Bring Hugbert the Bear to life in this fun two-session workshop! Using soft, textured yarn and simple shaping techniques, you’ll crochet a cuddly teddy bear that’s perfect as a heartfelt gift or a special keepsake. This class is best suited for those with basic crochet experience - you should know how to single crochet and work in the round. From Hugbert’s head to his arms, legs, and body, we’ll guide you step by step and show you how to stitch it all together with personality and charm. By the end of class, you’ll have your very own Hugbert to take home, along with the confidence and skills to try more amigurumi projects on your own! Hearts & Doodles with Alcohol Ink
Do you have a special Valentine? Make them their custom heart using Isopropyl Alcohol Inks and doodles. You will first create the heart using various colors of Alcohol Ink. Don’t worry, the heart does not have to be perfect, it will continue to take on its own personality as you cover it with doodles. Let your imagination go wild. There will be time to make two 5” x 7” hearts. Come and enjoy the fun! Notes: There is a $15 supply fee due at class. -
Knitting 101
Knitting is relaxing, fun, creative and a great way to spend a cold winter afternoon! Beginning Knitters will learn all the skills necessary to get knitting and by night three, with a little practice, you will be able to create a beautiful scarf, cute hat or a handy washcloth. Returning Knitters will continue to practice their new learned skill plus a few new tricks! Learn different ways to cast on and bind off, increase and decrease stitches and work on a new project - a Keyhole Scarf.
