Welcome to the 2026 Rec Flag Football Season! Registration will be open from June 1 to July 31. This league is open to boys and girls entering grades K- 5. Practice will start mid/late August with games to follow. Teams will play a total of 8 games. Games will be played at Mariner Middle School under the lights and on the turf. Cost: $124.00 League break down - Register students for the grade they are entering in the 2026-2027 school year. Grades K/1: Games played both Tues/Thurs Grades 2/3: Games played both Mon/Wed Grades 4/5: 6:00 - Games played both Tues/Thurs ** Teams are created by schools/area or if a head coach submits a roster. All participants will get to keep their belts. Coaches pick practice times. This popular camp is for students who have completed grades 1 - 7 and love the game of football! We will work on the fundamentals such as 3-point stance, tackling (bags), throwing and catching while learning about sportsmanship and teamwork. We will also focus on leadership, self confidence, physical movement and how to be a student athlete. Students should dress in athletic clothing and wear either athletic shoes or cleats. This is a non-contact football camp: no tackling will be involved, and kids will be divided up by age. Students are encouraged to wear their favorite football jersey. A flag football game will be played at the end of each day. As always, we hope to have Gopher football players join us!
