Block Print Making
Create your own unique, usable artwork in this beginner-friendly printmaking class! Participants will draw, carve, and hand-print multiples of a black-and-white design, inspired by folklore and patterns from the collection of The Museum of Russian Art. Participants will learn how to safely use carving tools, properly ink and print designs using hand-printing techniques, and troubleshoot common printmaking challenges. All materials included. Taught by Lindsey Reyes: Through drawing, painting, and printmaking, Minnesota artist Lindsey Reyes explores the magic inherent in our world and how people interpret this magic through stories and art. Lindsey believes deeply that creating art should be accessible to all, and she enjoys engaging with students during every stage of their creative journey. -

Chalk Pastels are extremely pigmented, blendable, and can be used to create paint-like effects without the use of water. In this class you will learn the many possibilities of this medium as you follow step-by-step instructions to create your own drawing. -
Crochet Your Own Teddy Bear
Prerequisite: Basic crochet skills required. Bring Hugbert the Bear to life in this fun two-session workshop! Using soft, textured yarn and simple shaping techniques, you’ll crochet a cuddly teddy bear that’s perfect as a heartfelt gift or a special keepsake. This class is best suited for those with basic crochet experience - you should know how to single crochet and work in the round. From Hugbert’s head to his arms, legs, and body, we’ll guide you step by step and show you how to stitch it all together with personality and charm. By the end of class, you’ll have your very own Hugbert to take home, along with the confidence and skills to try more amigurumi projects on your own! Embroidery - Intermediate Level
Join us at Saint Croix Vineyards for a hands-on intermediate embroidery class! This class is designed for people who know basic embroidery skills, and are ready to extend their learning to new stitches such as the blanket stitch, fly stitch, basket weave, and more! Each participant will receive the following materials to keep: A practice cotton fabric sampler to learn and experiment with various intermediate stitches Thread and needles Guided by experienced instructors, you’ll learn intermediate stitches step-by-step. Enjoy a cozy, social atmosphere with plenty of time to sip, stitch, and socialize. The tasting room at Saint Croix Vineyards will be open throughout the class, offering a selection of their refreshments available for purchase. Come solo or bring a friend—either way, you’ll leave with new skills, your very own embroidery supplies, and maybe even a new favorite hobby. Khokhloma Painting
Come learn about the artistic tradition of khokhloma, a beautiful Russian folk art style that you’ll often see painted on wooden household objects. We'll draw inspiration from the colors and nature motifs of khokhloma to create our own designs and paint them on usable wooden items to take home. All ages welcome; all materials provided. Majestic Mountain: Bob Ross Style Oil Painting
Pick up a brush and find your happy little trees in this Bob Ross–style painting class! No experience needed—just bring your sense of fun and watch your hidden talent come to life. You’ll leave with your own masterpiece on a 16" x 20" canvas, ready to frame and show off at home. Please note: Oil paintings take 4 weeks to fully dry but can be inserted into the frame of your choice and hung immediately. REMINDERS: A $20 cash material fee is due to the instructor at class. You will create a beautiful Oil Painting on an 8 x 10 inch canvas following step-by-step instructions all while learning about the paints and other tools needed to create an oil painting. Making alterations to store-bought clothes, especially jeans can be tricky. This class will offer different options for shortening jeans and the leg shaping needed to complete the look. We’ll also build skills in waist and back fitting, like adding darts to fit better or taking in the seams.
