Create your own unique, usable artwork in this beginner-friendly printmaking class! Participants will draw, carve, and hand-print multiples of a black-and-white design, inspired by folklore and patterns from the collection of The Museum of Russian Art. Participants will learn how to safely use carving tools, properly ink and print designs using hand-printing techniques, and troubleshoot common printmaking challenges. All materials included.

Taught by Lindsey Reyes: Through drawing, painting, and printmaking, Minnesota artist Lindsey Reyes explores the magic inherent in our world and how people interpret this magic through stories and art. Lindsey believes deeply that creating art should be accessible to all, and she enjoys engaging with students during every stage of their creative journey.
