After spending years in the software consulting world using my creativity to build software solutions for my clients, I decided to retire. Then there was Covid. I decided I needed to make changes in my life. I bought a dog, a Siberian Husky full of life, and I learned to paint. I fell in love with alcohol ink since the paintings tend to be bright and happy. The ink has a mind of its own, and the result is paintings that are abstract in nature. For me, this is perfect since I haven’t had an art class since junior high school. I paint because it makes me happy. If my art speaks to others, that is an added blessing. To inspire someone else to feel joy – that is the ultimate gift. The possibilities of working with alcohol ink are endless and I am loving the journey. I hope my art speaks to you.
