WBL Summer Nordic SkiRecreation YouthSummertime is the right time to prepare for the upcoming Nordic ski season! This program will focus on strength, technique, speed and endurance. You can attend any or all weekly sessions. The Monday evening sessions, though, will be of higher rigor with a focus on long-distance rolls. The program begins June 2 and runs until July 23. Mondays 6 - 8 PM - focus is on long distance 90+ minute roller ski sessions. We'll meet in downtown Stillwater and ski on the Brown's Creek and Gateway trail systems. These sessions are targeted toward the more advanced skiers who can handle long distance rolls. Tuesdays 8 - 10 AM - focus is technique and strength (roller skiing, hill bounding, body weight strength). We will meet in the lower parking lot at Polar Lakes Park. Tuesday, June 2nd will be at the high school at 6-8 PM. Wednesdays 6 - 8 PM - focus is on mid-distance roller skiing sessions involving threshold and extended interval repeats. We'll meet locally and ski on area roads or bike trails. Thursday 8 - 10 AM - focus is technique and strength (roller skiing, hill bounding, body weight strength). We will meet at the high school. On-site specialists to meet individual needs Creative Curriculum used in all classes Outdoor play area and gyms designed and equipped especially for young children 2026-27 PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION GUIDELINES Enrollment is not guaranteed and is based on space availability. Once you complete the online registration you will be put on a “pending approval status” in the order the registration is received. Your credit card will not be charged for the registration fee until your child is confirmed in the program. You will not be confirmed in the program until All Required Forms are received. Once you are approved, you will receive an email confirmation and your credit card will be charged the registration fee. Approval process may take up to 10 business days. Annual preschool registration requires a non-refundable fee of $75. Annual Tamarack registration fees for out of district families will be an additional $100. After registrations meets the maximum number, additional registrations go onto the waitlist and if space becomes available, you will be notified. If a class does not fill due to low enrollment it will be canceled and parents will be notified by email. Preschool students must be bathroom independent. White Bear Youth Speed and Athletic Development CampRecreation YouthWhite Bear Attack and Speed is a camp designed to enhance athletic coordination, speed, power, agility, and reaction time through fundamental training and small-sided competitive games.
