Also, what type of exercises are beneficial as we age and anti-inflammatory food sources. This course is designed for adults of all ages.

This class explores the often-overlooked role of the care partner and how their presence can significantly impact the quality of life for individuals living with conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's disease, post-surgical recovery, and other chronic health challenges. Led by a registered nurse and the owner of a local homecare agency, participants will gain a clear understanding of what a care partner does, how they are matched with a client, and how the right support at home can make a meaningful difference in both the patient's and family's wellbeing. Whether you are personally navigating a health condition, caring for a loved one, or simply planning ahead, this session will leave you informed, empowered, and better prepared. After 20 years in Intensive Care and Women's Health, since returning to Minnesota, she has specialized in Senior Care, including Assisted Living, Memory Care, Palliative/Comfort Care. We will learn basic CPR training in a hands-on experience and finish the class with common first aid you can perform for strokes, heart attacks, bleeding, and more! Bystander or family CPR is one of the key elements of survival for patients in an out of hospital cardiac arrest. Learning this valuable skill or getting a refresher on knowledge you have previously acquired is lifesaving!

    If you’ve noticed hip/thigh/butt spread, you are not alone. We have become a nation of professional sitters, causing lower body muscles to weaken and sag. In this workshop, you will learn: my famous ‘10 Minute Miracle Exercise’ series to strengthen lower body muscles quickly and, in the process, increase metabolism and bone density, decrease 2 inches off saddlebag area in 2 weeks, trim inches off lower body by getting rid of excess water weight, learn a breathing technique to stimulate fat metabolism, learn about acupressure points for lymph circulation and drainage. If you don’t have time, money, or inclination to haul yourself to a gym, you will love these powerful and effective techniques. NOTE: You will need a resistance band, tied in a loop for some of the exercises.
